NASHVILLE (CN) - An investor says Raptor Group Investments lived down to its name, plucking him for $300,000 after falsely promising that investments in its commodity futures contracts were insured up to $500,000. He claims Raptor and its boss, Christian Kis, were never licensed and have been shut down by the CFTC.
James Platzek wants his $300,000 back, plus the 15% annual returns he says he was promised. He is represented in Davidson County Court by Roberts & Layman.
