ST. LOUIS (CN) - A woman pleaded guilty to sending threatening letters to a romantic rival - along with a cow's tongue and the head of an opossum, federal prosecutors said.
Jessica L. Bradshaw, 39, of Lincoln County, Mo., fell for a woman in Trenton, Ill., the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. She admitted in court that she sent the letters along with a cow's tongue and the head of an opossum to the woman's girlfriend.
Bradshaw pleaded guilty to three felony counts of mailing a threatening communication. She faces up to 16 months in prison, but her lawyer, Yi Sun, will ask for less due to her diminished mental capacity, the Post-Dispatch reported.
