KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A federal court in Kansas entered default judgment against the Democratic National Committee in the amount of $60,000 in a suit alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The pro se plaintiff provided evidence of 120 text messages sent between July and November 2020 that violated the act by being sent to her cellphone with an automatic telephone dialing system and without her prior consent.
