Texas Voting

Texas voters will not be allowed to vote a straight ticket in November after the Fifth Circuit stayed a preliminary injunction prohibiting the enforcement of a 2017 law eliminating straight-ticket voting. A stay is appropriate to enforce the status quo voting scenario while the court can evaluate the arguments on the merits.
