Texas’ Medical Damages Cap Challenged

MARSHALL, TEXAS (CN) - Self-described victims of medical malpractice sued a slew of hospitals in Federal Court, claiming Texas' House Bill 4, the Medical Malpractice and Tort Reform Act of 20003, which capped damages in health-care liability lawsuits, is unconstitutional.
