Texas Judge Restrains Credit-Repair Scam

DALLAS (CN) - A federal judge ordered Payneless Credit Repair to stop violating the law by promising it can remove derogatory information from customers' credit reports - even if the information is true. The FTC sued the Richardson, Texas-based company and its owner, Lesley L. Payne.
