Texas Election Code

A federal court in Texas declined to dismiss a lawsuit claiming the state’s election code places unconstitutional burdens on minor political parties but also declined to block changes to the code passed by state lawmakers this year that require minor parties to meet the same requirements as major parties for getting candidates onto a ballot.
