Texas Court Of Appeals

ATTORNEYS, NEGLIGENCE - The Texas Court of Appeals held that physical exams are necessary for plaintiffs who won a settlement for personal injuries stemming from a refinery explosion. Plaintiffs sued their attorney for malpractice after the settlement, claiming he should have gotten them more money based on their claims of post-traumatic stress disorder. The attorney requested independent medical and psychological exams to evaluate their claims. See ruling.
