Testimony On Low Doses Of Celebrex|Excluded From Major Federal Trial

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - A federal judge has excluded some expert testimony from multidistrict litigation in which more than 3,000 plaintiffs claim they or their loved ones suffered heart attacks, strokes or heart problems from taking Celebrex, made by Pfizer. Judge Charles Breyer ruled that plaintiffs' experts may not testify that Celebrex causes heart attacks or strokes when taken in doses of 200 milligrams a day. See ruling.
