RICHMOND, Va. — The Fourth Circuit affirmed a Virginia federal court’s one-year prison sentence for Ali Shukri Amin, accused of communicating with extremists during his supervised release. He had been released after serving five years in federal prison for conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State group.
