Teri Polo Trashed|His Place, Landlord Says

LOS ANGELES (CN) - "Meet the Fockers" actress Teri Polo trashed a home to the tune of $30,000 and ran out on part of her $6,500 monthly rent, the landlord claims in court.

Edwin McPherson sued Polo in Superior Court. The landlord claims that Polo, 44, abandoned his single-family home in Manhattan Beach in August 2012, leaving it in a "disgusting, deplorable condition."

For instance, McPherson says, Polo let her eight pets pee on and scratch the carpet.

"Polo left the sole walkway on the west side of the premises covered with dog feces, the odor of which permeated the premises and the neighborhood, to the extent that neighbors could smell the odor of feces in their own yards and homes," the 5-page complaint states.

McPherson claims Polo left food in the fridge to spoil, leaving a "tremendous odor" and a "small flood" in the kitchen. She left behind a broken closet mirror, two torn window screens, "numerous holes" in the walls, and "countless stickers stuck to the wall," he adds.

McPherson says Polo refused to pay for the damages.

He seeks unpaid rent and compensatory damages of $30,000 plus interest.

Polo played the role of Pam Focker in "Meet the Parents" and its sequels "Meet the Fockers" and "Little Fockers." She stars in teen-drama series "The Fosters" on ABC Family.

McPherson is represented by Tracy Rane with McPherson Rane.

A representative for Polo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
