Tennessee Appeals Court

EMPLOYMENT - The Tennessee Court of Appeals found that the civil service commission properly fired Officer Robert Logan Jr. of the Memphis police after he shot an unarmed man in the back while off-duty without warning the man that he was willing to use deadly force. Logan also failed to exhaust all other means of apprehension or prevention before using deadly force.
