Tenn. Court Of Appeals

ATTORNEY FEES - The Tennessee Court of Appeals upheld an award of $14,000 to a church after a contractor delayed construction for almost two months. But the court awared the church only $16,000 of $68,000 in attorney fees, ruling that the amount was reasonable given the duration and complexity of the case. The trial court had denied the church certain credits due to a failure to resolve item-pricing issues.
