Telemarketing texts

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A Kansas federal court declined to certify a class of consumers suing a vapor lounge for collecting customers’ phone numbers and texting them with marketing campaigns. The vapor lounge showed the court that it has not sent promotional texts since 2022 and does not intend to do so in the future, so the proposed class does not face a threat of being wronged again.
