Teamsters v. Countrywide

LOS ANGELES - The Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund, the biggest multi-employer pension plan in the country, claims Countrywide Financial Corp. misrepresented the quality of the mortgages it pooled and securitized. The Teamsters also sued a slew of major financial institutions involved in the issues, in a class action in Superior Court.
