Teacher Says School Fired Her For|Refusing To Whack An Autistic Child

GREENEVILLE, MISS. (CN) - A special ed teacher says the Booneville School District fired her because she refused to administer corporal punishment to a severely autistic child.

In her federal complaint, Kathy Anderson Lamb says that punishing an autistic child with corporal punishment is a crime.

She is represented by Jim Waide of Tupelo.
