Teacher Says Boston Cop Assaulted Her

BOSTON (CN) - City of Boston police officer Hugh Schultz assaulted and battered J.D. O'Bryant High School biology teacher Marsha Smith because she asked him what he was doing in her classroom, Smith claims in Suffolk County Court. Smith, a black woman, says she had to be hospitalized, and that the city refused to issue a complaint in response to Schultz's bogus charge that she had assaulted him and resisted arrest, possibly because all 25 students in her room provided written statements that backed up her account.
