SAN DIEGO (CN) - A middle school teacher in San Diego on Thursday admitted possessing child pornography, federal prosecutors said.
Timothy James Hensley, a teacher at Bell Middle School, pleaded guilty to a five-count indictment charging him with receipt and possession of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
He was arrested in January. He faces up to 5 years in prison for each of three counts of receipt of child pornography and up to 20 years for each of two counts of possessing it. He could be fined $250,000 for each count.
He will be sentenced on Aug. 12.
