The Northern District of California denied Intuit’s motion to compel arbitration in a class action suit brought by consumers who claim the company tricked them into paying for its tax preparation services when they could have used its free tax filing option. The court ruled the consumers did not agree to an arbitration agreement because the terms were “too inconspicuous.”
