Tased and Shot

A man who became paraplegic after being simultaneously tased and shot five times during a traffic stop lost his due process suit against the city of Birmingham. A federal court in Alabama ruled that he failed to cite evidence of a widespread practice of excessive force or sufficiently allege that the city failed to provide adequate training.
