Talent Agencies Act Called Unconstitutional

LOS ANGELES (CN) - California's Talent Agencies Act is unconstitutional, Rick Siegel says in a pro se claim in Federal Court. Siegel, who describes himself as a personal manager, wants enforcement of the 1979 state law enjoined.

Siegel claims the Talent Agencies Act illegally renders void ab initio any contract between a talent representative and an artist, no matter how petty the alleged offense. He claims the law is unconstitutionally vague.
