Abortion Protester Wins Appeal

An anti-abortion protester is entitled to an injunction allowing him to to stand near the entrance of a Planned Parenthood clinic, the Sixth Circuit ruled. The court found that the street connected to the abortion clinic’s parking lot is privately owned, but it “has all the trappings of a public street” and can be considered a public forum.

VW’s Lone U.S. Plant Narrowly Rejects Union Representation

Of the workers eligible to vote, 1,609 cast secret paper ballots that asked whether or not they wanted the United Auto Workers to represent them, according to a statement by VW. The results came down to a difference of 57 votes: 776 Volkswagen employees approved of the union but 833 did not.
