Judge Advances Protesters’ Free Speech Lawsuit Against San Diego Police

An attorney representing the San Diego branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and a handful of protesters arrested while holding vigil for a man shot and killed by a police officer in 2016 said San Diego law enforcement has a pattern of declaring protests unlawful assemblies once they become “inconvenient.”
