House Urges Full DC Circuit to Rehear McGahn Subpoena Fight

Asking the full D.C. Circuit to rehear a controversial case on immunity for presidential advisers, the House Judiciary Committee argued Friday that the court’s failure to enforce subpoenas leaves Congress with few remedies, among them arresting White House officials.

TSA Abuses

The Third Circuit allowed an airline passenger to sue the Transportation Security Administration for “torment” and “abuse” she suffered from TSA screeners at Philadelphia International Airport,  including “forcing her to crawl under a table” to reach the belongings they had taken from her, and damaged, and allegedly causing her to be falsely charged with 10 crimes.
