A Los Angeles city councilman said Wednesday he will introduce a motion requiring all concession stands at LAX, the LA Zoo, movie theaters, and all city-owned parks and entertainment venues to offer at least one “vegan protein option.” Councilman Paul Koretz said that encouraging a “plant-based diet” could help curb global warming.
