Corruption Caused 737 Max Crash, Engineer Says

Ethiopian Airlines’ former chief engineer says in a whistleblower complaint filed with regulators that the carrier went into the maintenance records on a Boeing 737 Max jet a day after it crashed this year, a breach he calls part of a pattern of corruption that included fabricating documents, signing off on shoddy repairs and even beating those who got out of line.

TSA Class Action

A federal class action claims the Transportation Security Administration and JPMorgan Chase bank refuse to grant an $85 credit they promised for enrolling in TSA’s expedited security screening program if they categorize the enrollment “as a ‘business’ card, not a ‘consumer’ card,” a distinction without a difference.
