Synthetic Pot Trademark

WEST PALM BEACH - A federal judge ruled against Kratom Labs in its trademark action over synthetic marijuana that it marketed as Mr. Nice Guy.

Kratom's trademark is invalid it was fraudulently obtained by marketing the product as incense or potpourri and "not for human consumption," U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra wrote.

The defendants included Double D's Tobacco of Stuart and Daniel Mancini.
