Swiss Bank Owes $196M

WASHINGTON (CN) - Charged with violating U.S. securities laws "by providing cross-border brokerage and investment advisory services to U.S. clients without first registering with the SEC," Credit Suisse Group agreed Friday to pay regulators $196 million, the SEC said in a settled administrative complaint.
