Suzanne Somers Sued Over Restaurant Deal

LEXINGTON, Ky. (CN) - A man claims he lost $400,000 he invested in a restaurant that was supposed to trade on Suzanne Somers' name and celebrity, but which never opened.

John Bouchillon claims John Brown Jr. persuaded him that "Suzanne's Kitchen" had a deal with Somers, to use her name, recipes and celebrity. But according to the complaint in Fayette County Court, bickering among co-defendants Brown Operating Co., SLC Food Inc., Brown and Somers caused the restaurant to fail before it ever opened. Bouchillon wants his money back.
