A Louisiana appeals court revived a patient’s suit claiming an orthopedic surgeon harvested bone from his right knee without his consent during surgery to repair a fracture in his upper right arm, finding there’s a factual dispute as to whether a patient in such a position would not have consented to the surgery had he known the knee was a potential donor site.
