Supreme Court Rules Against Fired Worker

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Constitution's equal protection clause does not allow individual public employees to sue for workplace discrimination. The court rejected an Oregon woman's claim that she was a "class of one," having been fired for "arbitrary, vindictive and malicious reasons."
