Supreme Court Rejects Enron Investors’ Appeal

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected without comment a $30 billion shareholder lawsuit against some of the investment banks involved in Enron Corp.'s 2001 collapse, including Merrill Lynch & Co., Credit Suisse First Boston and Barclays Bank PLC. The University of California led the class action accusing the investment banks of helping Enron conceal its losses.
