Superstorm Sandy

JAMAICA, N.Y. - More than 120 people and businesses blame Long Island Power Authority et al. for fires in the Rockaways after Superstorm Sandy, claiming it should have turned off the power after the city ordered the area evacuated, in Queens County Supreme Court.

Here are the defendants in the Superstorm Sandy case: Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), National Grid PLC aka National Grid US8 Inc., National Grid USA Inc., Keyspan Electric Services LLC, and Keyspan Energy Trading Services LLC dba National Grid.
