Super Model Sues Tabs Over Nude Pics

MIAMI (CN) - A Jane Doe "supermodel" sued tabloid news agencies from three countries, claiming they photographed her tanning herself nude in her secluded back yard, and published the pictures. She claims Noticias Digitales of Spain, Splash News Picture and News Agency of Santa Monica and Egostatic.com of Montreal invaded her privacy, misappropriated her image and inflicted emotional distress.

She demands an injunction ordering them to cease displaying the photos, and to deliver them to her or her attorney. She also demands monetary damages.

Doe describes herself as "a super model whose image has appeared on the covers of various magazines, including Vogue Elle, Glamour, Mademoiselle, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire. Plaintiff resides with her daughter in a gated and secured community in Miami-Dade County." She says her yard is "heavily landscaped and fenced, with a wood fence approximately 5 feet tall. No one can gain visual access to her backyard without illegally trespassing onto her property."

She claims the defendants trespassed and "concealed and camouflaged themselves" to photograph her in August "within the confines and protection of Plaintiff's secluded and secured home patio ... using telescopic and other devices," an action she "completely and totally condemns".

She claims this constitutes "video voyeurism," which is illegal in Florida.

She is represented by Marks & West.
