MIAMI (CN) - Sunbeam's Soft Touch Heating Pad's defective design causes it to overheat, burning the user, burning the pad, and sometimes setting the pad on fire, a class-action complaint claims in Federal Court.
Sunbeam dba Jarden Consumer Solutions makes the pads with outmoded resistive wire technology, the complaint states.
