LOS ANGELES (CN) – Marion “Suge” Knight collapsed in court Friday after a judge set bail at $25 million in his murder case, according to reports. After the hearing in Compton, Knight was taken to a jail hospital ward, the Los Angeles Times reports. L.A. County prosecutor Cynthia Barnes said she believed Knight “did it in front of the cameras.” Last month, Knight, 49, pleaded not guiltyto murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges. According to prosecutors, Knight ran overtwo men with his pickup in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers on Rosecrans Avenue on Jan. 29, near a set where crews were filming a promotion for the “Straight Outta Compton” movie, about rap group N.W.A. Knight is accused of killing his longtime friend Terry Carter, 55, and critically injuring film technician Cle Denyale “Bone” Sloan, 51, after an argument related to the filming of the “Straight Outta Compton” spot.
