Strange Disease

Two women sued two doctors and Avanir Pharmaceuticals, claiming the doctors injured them by prescribing Avanir’s Nuedexta, used only to treat pseudobulbular effect, which gives people fits of laughter or crying, though they do not have the disease, and the doctors were taking benefits from Avanir when they did it, in Cuyahoga County Court.
