NEWARK (CN) - A customer claims an employee of Amazing Savings put his camera phone under her dress and the store lacked "any type of security" to handle the situation.
The plaintiff says she was shopping at the store in Verona, N.J., when she "felt something touch her leg." She says she turned around and saw Javier Morales "squatting behind her with his camera phone pointing up her dress." The woman says she was "visibly pregnant" at the time, and that Morales' actions were "highly offensive to a reasonable and ordinary person."
She demands damages for assault, privacy invasion, emotional distress, and negligence. She is represented in Essex County Court by Robert Peluso of West New York, N.J.
