Stock car emissions

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A federal court in North Carolina allowed the federal government to continue its Clean Air Act lawsuit against a car parts company, whose aftermarket devices allegedly overcome the federally regulated emissions controls on motor vehicles. The maker says it only sells to racing stock cars, which are not “motor vehicles,” but this is a factual issue to be judged later.
