State Sues Kansas City For Repealing Tax

KANSAS CITY, MO. (CN) - The City of Kansas City unconstitutionally repealed a 25-year, 3/8-cents sales tax that voters approved on Nov. 9, 2007, to fund a light rail system, an aerial tramway and electric buses, the State of Missouri claims in Jackson County Court. See complaint.
