(CN) – The Missouri Supreme Court upheld the state’s school funding formula. Of Missouri’s 524 public school districts, 271 claimed the state failed to provide enough money and does not distribute it fairly. But the high court upheld a Cole County judge’s 2007 ruling, ending a five-year legal battle that cost more than $6 million.
