LAS VEGAS (CN) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick failed to deliver sports memorabilia and make public appearances as part of a three-year, $101,500 contract, J.O. Sports Co. claims in Clark County Court.
Vick signed a deal in August 2011, requiring him to provide "game-worn equipment" to J.O. Sports, according to the complaint. J.O. claims the agreement also called for Vick to make public appearances and attend private signings, but Vick failed to do either.
Vick also failed to pay $4,000 for plaintiff's work setting up social media sites for the football player, according to the complaint.
Vick served 21 months in prison beginning in 2007 for his part in a dog-fighting ring.
J.O. Sports wants its money back along with delinquency charges, collection costs and attorneys' fees.
It is represented by Spencer M. Judd.
