Sphinx Says Refco Fraud Cost It $263 Million

MANHATTAN (CN) - The Sphinx family of hedge funds demands $263 million in damages, in spinoff litigation from the Refco debacle. Sphinx claims in New York County Court that frauds orchestrated by Refco CEO Phillip Bennett caused the collapse of Sphinx Funds and PlusFunds.
