Special Condition

The Second Circuit vacated a special condition imposed upon Patrick Carlineo, who pleaded guilty to charges stemming from threatening calls he made to the office of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. The condition, which required Carlineo to participate in the Partners in Restorative Initiatives program, is vague and delegated too much authority to the probation office, the court ruled.
