South American Promoter Says He Was Duped

LOS ANGELES (CN) - A South American concert promoter says he was duped by two men who claimed to be Justin Timberlake's handlers, but actually had no relationship with the singer.

Juan Vela claims Art Gamino and Ken Stuart promised to produce Timberlake for a concert for $650,000 to $750,000.

In his Superior Court complaint, Vela claims he paid $100,000 before discovering the scam. He demands $500,000 from Gamino, Stuart, Moonlight Live Entertainment and Creative Artists Agency. He is represented by Alfred Anyia.
