TALLAHASSEE (CN) - The son of the late William Foster, creator of the Florida A&M University Marching 100 Band and a foundation that raises money for band scholarships, claims Harold Byrd Sr. mismanaged the foundation before and after Foster's death, falsely claims copyright to his father's autobiography, "the Man Behind the Baton," and is still soliciting donations for the foundation for his own personal gain.
Anthony Foster sued Byrd and Professional Video Resources, alleging copyright violations and commercial misappropriation.
He is represented by Frederick Page with Holland & Knight.
