A federal court in Arizona ruled in favor of Phoenix in a suit brought by two police officers who claimed their department’s social media policy violated their freedom of speech. An investigation concluded one of the officers’ Facebook posts encouraged “fear and hatred” toward Muslims and people of Middle Eastern descent.

An investigation concluded one of the officers’ Facebook posts encouraged “fear and hatred” toward Muslims and people of Middle Eastern descent.
