SoCal Group Passed $6 Million in Bogus Bills

LOS ANGLES (CN) - A group of men from Southern California successfully passed more than $6 million in counterfeit U.S. bills, the government conceded earlier this week, in what prosecutors said was the most successful use to date of inkjet and laser printers to mimic $20 and $100 bills. Prosecutors said the bills "had a remarkable range of distribution," and were put into circulation throughout the United States.

Albert Edward Talton has pled guilty along while three other men from Southern California await trial. Secret Service agents were able to seize some of the counterfeit money
