MINEOLA, N.Y. (CN) – A snake charmer who says she’s well-known after working 11 years at Coney Island claims Schmaltz Brewing Co. used her image without permission on its “Coney Island – Albino Python” beer. Stephanie Torres claims the beer company promised to pay her but she never got dime one. Torres says Schmaltz has sold “hundreds of thousands” of beers with her picture on it. She describes herself as “a well known side show performer … associated with a nonprofit organization called Coney Island USA.” She demands more than $250,000 in Nassau County Court. She is represented by David Aboulafia of Manhattan.
