Small Town Politics In Federal Court

JACKSON, TENN. (CN) - A police captain claims the mayor and police chief of Medina demoted, harassed and fired him in an escalating campaign that began when the captain refused the mayor's order to issue traffic tickets only to people from out of town.

Jeffrey Luther sued the City of Medina, Mayor Vance Coleman, and Police Chief Jerry Morris, alleging constitutional and whistleblower violations, in Federal Court.Luther is represented by Michael Weinman.
